Although most student organizations have engagement opportunities for members, the following categories of student organizations have an explicit civic engagement focus:

IU-B students are strongly encouraged to take part in advocacy, elections, and initiatives related to the student governance of campus:

Indiana University Student Association (IUSA)
IUSA is the government of the student body. It is composed of the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches, along with the departments of Student Rights and Student Aid.
